Yesterday

Yesterday, we cleared out the basement and brought out my school stuff. In case you didn't know, I'm home-schooled. We moved up bookshelves and cleared out bookshelves dusted, and then cleared some more. We have a MILLION photo albums and I put those in the new bookshelves and my schoolwork in the old shelves. We brought up my old desk and Rayna's desk.

After that we were going to eat. As we were headed out the door Rayna pointed to the stuffed rabbit vacuum cleaner cover and said, "MOMMY I REMEMBER!! You wore that dress on your WEDDING!" After she said that I was about to say that she couldn't remember that! I didn't even remember that! Then I realized that instead of a wedding dress she was talking about the dress on the rabbit vacuum cleaner cover! When Daddy asked, "Do you mean THAT dress?" Rayna said, "Yes," at first. Then Daddy asked, "Do you think Mommy got married in long floppy ears?" Rayna turned a little red and then started laughing too. Rayna thought for a moment and said, "No she ,would look funny!" Then Daddy showed her Mommy's wedding dress that was on a dress form over in the opposite corner of the room.

Then we went to eat at a Mexican place in Louisberg (They taste better than the ones in Belton, of course) to eat and I ordered a enchilada and Doug and Rayna shared a chicken sandwich. I didn't like the enchilada so Doug and I switched food! The chicken sandwich was VERY tasty!

But, here's a thought.... Buy a roll of duct tape and cover the floor with it, sticky side up. You can jump across it to get away from her, but, she will have to crawl across it. That might help slow her down a bit the next time she is pestering you! If she's too noisy, a little piece might be useful for her mouth!!! (believe me, I would love to do this to my brother and sister but, I can't. Your grandkids can come and use the obsticle course too!!! fun, fun, fun!!!) OH MY GOODNESS!!! I almost forgot the most important thing if you want to REALLY get those joints amovin'!
