Which planet would you rule?

I got on "Sister 2 two" again and did this quiz! I also found the site she uses and did a "Brady Bunch" quiz.

I really liked the "Which planet would you rule?" quiz. Emmie (at Sister 2 two) does all her quizzes on Wednesday but, I'm not as organized as she seems to be so whenever I come across a cool quiz, I'm puttin' it on!!!!
I thought that this quiz was TOTALLY right!
Try it!

Ciao!

You Should Rule Mars

Mars is a planet that shines brightly and loops wildly around the solar system.

You are perfect to rule Mars, because you are both energetic and independent.
Like Mars, you seems attractive and bright to others - but you're difficult to pin down.

You are a great thinker, but you only think in the present and ignore the future.
Full of enthusiasm and inspiration, you are into your own thing... and rather insensitive to others.

The previous few days

*snuffle* *sniff* *WAAAAAAHHHHHHH* Daddy went on a (lousy) business trip and will be coming tomorrow night. THAT'S A LONG TIME!!!!

Ok I s'pose that you wanna know what all I been up to this weekend huh?
Well, on Friday we went to this "Holiday Inn" and Daddy's band played there.
On Saturday we went back there and Daddy's band played twice that time.
On Saturday Mom decided to bring her computer and internet. She was on THE WHOLE ENTIRE TIME WE WERE THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!

I sang "Till the End of the World Goes Round" on the first set. I even got to go back stage! I felt SPECIAL!

On Sunday we we went to church and all my friends asked, "Why weren't you in Sunday School?" I explained we got home at 11:00 pm and didn't feel up to getting up at 7:00 am to get to Sunday School! I thought it was a good reason.

That cute little kitty kat up on top is a avatar thingeeabobbie (as Rayna would call it) that mom was gonna send Adam but, I couldn't resist putting it on my blog today

How many people in the USA have your name?

My friend sent me a link to this site and when I got on I found this and I thought that it was really cool!

There are 14 people in the USA that have Doug's name and only 1 person that has Rayna's name. 4 people in the US have my name and like, 53 have my grandma's name.

Have fun!

AAAAAUUUUUUGGGGGHHHHHH!!! I'VE BEEN TAGGED!!!!

AAAAUUUUUGGGGHHHHHH I'VE BEEN TAGGED!!!!!!!!! *MOAN*
I have to write 6 weird things about me.

1. If I have an empty stomach and drink lotsa water and jump up and down you can hear the water slosh in my stomach!

2. I can lay on my stomach, bend my legs over my back and wipe my nose holding a kleenex with my toes.

3. I've read "Eragon" 11 times and "Eldest" 9 times.

4. I DESPISE math (My cousin thinks I'm weird 'cause I don't like math and I think he's weird cuz he's a math whiz.)

5. I LOVE shoot 'em up movies. (Dad does too! He has at least 50 John Wayne movies. He got me hooked on 'em!)

6. It doesn't bother me if my glasses are filthy and all out of whack.

Sledding

We got a SLED!!!!!!!!!! ahhhhhh great happiness!

We TRIED sledding down our (puny and igsnificant) hill but, ours, unfortunatly isn't steep enough.
So, we went over to Grandma and Grandpa's (wonderfully steep) hill. It was SO much fun! It was one of those long sleds that fit 3-4 peoples and so Doug, Rayna and I could all go at once!!!!
It worked out best if I was in the front, Rayna was in the middle, and Doug was in the back. Rayna was in back once (we decided not to do that anymore) and um, we ran into a tree, and Rayna hit her head. NOT good.
I steered (which couldn't be done very well), and Doug could push with his hands from the back and keep us going when we were slowing, and all Rayna had to do, sit down and hold on for dear life! We went down 15-20 times before it started snowing. AND after sledding we had to walk THROUGH the snow and get the stupid mail. VERY cold and icy.

Home made snow ice-cream!!!!!!!!

We didn't go to church today because we had about 4-6 inches of snow and the roads were still icy.

We went over to Grandma and Grandpa's house for lunch. We had roast beef, scalloped corn and beans. The scalloped corn was especially good!
After we ate, we watched a "Gunsmoke" and went outside. Mom and Dad shoveled Grandma and Grandpa's driveway while Grandpa, Doug, Rayna and I had a snowball fight. I SKUNKED Doug. Grandpa has REALLY good aim. ); I got hit lotsa times by Grandpa. It was easy hitting Doug and Rayna but, I don't have very good aim and I only hit Grandpa 8-10 times.

Before we went inside Grandma had started a nice fire in the fireplace.
When we went inside we were discussing snow ice-cream and we asked Grandma if she'd make us some snow ice-cream and she said "YES!!!!!!" I went out and got the snow (it was clean) and my hands almost FROZE getting that snow. I didn't think to bring my gloves out to get the snow I just figured that I'd just scoop it up into the bowl. That didn't work.
Grandma is a GOOD cook. She made it PERFECTLY!!! I REALLY liked it. It was really yummy but, it was even BETTER (I didn't think it could get better!) when Grandpa brought out the CHOCOLATE SYRUP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE chocolate syrup!!!!!!!!!!!

After we had the ice-cream Grandma was saying she couldn't get onto my blog. I got on and showed her how to do it and she read my blog and left a comment too.

When we came home Dad watched a bluegrass DVD and Doug, Rayna and I watched "Justice League Unlimited". After that I was going through my pictures and changed my desktop several times and got stuff just right.

Mom just got done working with Doug on his math facts and Rayna is up playing hide 'n' seek.

I hafta go now.

'bye!

I KNOW I haven't written in a long time!!!!

I've been REALLY busy with Christmas and New Year stuff that I've not been able to blog in a while.

As you can hear, my really wonderful Uncle Eric put background music on my blog. I REALLY like what he put on and I just might keep it that way. Thank you Uncle Eric!

Mom has this really bad cold and Doug and Rayna are getting it. Dad and I are the only ones that don't have it, yet.

Rayna and I baked a little cake her Sunday School teacher gave her. It only took 2 minutes to bake! Rayna was in the middle of eating it when we came to blog.

On the way here we stopped off at Doug's school. As we pulled into the parking lot I noticed my little cardboard thing that was in my Nintendo DS case had some writing on it. I looked closer saw it said Rayna on it. I told Mom and she told Rayna not to write on stuff that wasn't hers. After Mom got through talking Rayna was saying very loudly and cheerfully, "Next time I'll write DOUG'S name!!!". I told her that there wasn't going to be a next time. Rayna turned away from me, crossed her arms and muttered, "There will too."

In Texas!

Sorry I haven't been able to write but, I was on a 10 hour trip to Texas. It was a long and dull trip but, I was able to play "Boggle" with Grandma on the way down here. I won, of course!

As soon as we came home (that's Grandma's house) we went to bed. It wasn't that late so, Grandma said that I could read for a little while. I ALWAYS lose track of time so, I was up until 10:00pm last night.

I got up at 6:08am this morning and went to exercise for 40 minutes with Grandma. Boy, they REALLY know how to exercise there! They did a 10 minute power walk DVD thing twice and it was kinda fun. Before that they did some 20 minute thing that was just OK.
Grandpa left at 6:00am and went on a 40 minute walk around the neighborhood.

I called Mom last night and talked to everyone. Rayna said she wanted me to come home already. Mom said that Rayna had been crying. ); Doug was so excited about watching "Over the Hedge" that all he talked about was the movie.
Grandma B. (the stinker) called b4 I called Mom and said, "You left your night cap at home and your mother wants you to come home and get it right away!" Wodda lousy thing to say. I don't even have a night cap! HA!

I've done MOST of my math except for 1 measly problem.

Grandma has been in here for the past two hours doing e-mail stuff and has been having problems with her computer printer.
She is now outside talking on her cellphone. It's been a nice day out and so I think that today would be a PERFECT day for playing outside!

10. (a) 4 (b) 2 (c) 3 (d) 5 (e) 6 (f) 1

Now add up the total number of points.

OVER 60 POINTS : Others see you as someone they should "handle with care." You're seen as vain, self-centered, and who is extremely dominant.. Others may admire you, wishing they could be more like you, but don't always trust you, hesitating to become too deeply involved with you.

51 TO 60 POINTS: Others see you as an exciting, highly volatile, rather impulsive personality; a natural leader, who's quick to make decisions, though not always the right ones. They see you as bold and adventuresome, someone who will try anything once; someone who takes chances and enjoys an adventure. They enjoy being in your company because of the excitement! you radiate.

41 TO 50 POINTS: Others see you as fresh, lively, charming, amusing, practical, and always interesting; someone who's constantly in the center of attention, but sufficiently well-balanced not to let it go to their head. They also see you as kind, considerate, and understanding; someone who'll always cheer them up and help them out.

31 TO 40 POINTS: Others see you as sensible, cautious, careful & practical. They see you as clever, gifted, or talented, but modest. Not a person who makes friends too quickly or easily, but someone who's extremely loyal to friends you do make and who expect the same loyalty in return. Those who really get to know you realize it takes a lot to shake your trust In your friends, but equally that it takes yo u a long time to get over if that trust is ever broken.

21 TO 30 POINTS: Your friends see you as painstaking and fussy. They see you as very cautious, extremely careful, a slow and steady plodder. It would! really surprise them if you ever did something impulsively or on the spur of the moment, expecting you to examine everything carefully from every angle and then, usually decide against it. They think this reaction is caused partly by your careful nature.

UNDER 21 POINTS: People think you are shy, nervous, and indecisive, someone who needs looking after, who always wants someone else to make the decisions & who doesn't want to get involved with anyone or anything! They see you as a worrier who always sees problems that don't exist. So me people think you're boring. Only those who know you well know that you aren't.

Wondering

Ok. I am wondering how you put music on your blog and if any of you computer whizzes out there (hint, hint UNCLE ERIC!!!) know how would you PLEASE comment and share that wonderful little bit of in4mation with me????? Prettypleasewithacherryontop!!???

I got the new Rhonda Vincent Christmas Cd a couple of days ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Daddy bought it for me and I am SOOOOO happy!!! In fact, I am listening to it as I write this post!!!

I just finished my science stuff and it was BORING. <]:

We watched the dogs this morning and it was soooo funny!!! Mom gave Shanachie a loaf of really hard bread that had been sitting in the fridge for like, um, FOREVER!!!! Shanachie grabbed it and started off to bury it but, little Rivendell followed and Shanachie just couldn't resist waving it past Rivvie's nose and making her all jealous! Shanachie went this way and that way and back this way too!
I went out and called to Rivvie so I could give her and Gloria some dog bones and she came runnin' like a monster was chasing her!!!! I found out where Shanachie buried her bone!!!!! She hid it at the end of the rock wall and was guarding it as Rivvie came closer.

I can't wait to go to TX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want to do LOTS of stuff!!!! Grandma and Grandpa M. get up REALLY early! Grandpa gets up at 5:30 to 6:00 AM!!!!!!!! I am SOOOO not good at getting up that early. Thankfully I CAN sleep in if I want to! I like to have my beauty sleep. Yea-Yea gets up at 6:30am I think. I can get up that early but NOT at 5:30am.

Today it's kinda foggy but, it's clearing up some and a little sunshine is coming through!!!!

I found this poem in my book and I REALLY like this one.
The Squirrel

Whisky, frisky,
Hippity, hop,
Up he goes
To the tree top!

Whirly, twirly
Round and round,
Down he scampers
To the ground

Furly, curly
What a tail!
Tall as a feather,
Broad as a sail!

Where's his supper?
In the shell
Snappity, crackity
Out it fell!

Author unknown

I put this poem on my old blog but, I really like it and so here it is again!

Rayna just said, "Mom, I think I need to get off sugar." She says as she is back there eating peanut M&M's "I'm too FAT! I want to go on a diet." HA! Rayna is the slimmest little thing you've ever seen!! I like listening to her mispronunciations! Rayna also said, "It's not FROGGY any more Mommy!"

I just got done eating at Arby's and Mom is having a veggie delight. But, they put it on wheat bread instead of white bread and she is inside right now spitting nails (I'm sure) trying to get white bread. She just came out saying "Whoohoohoohoo! I got white bread!" I say she's kind a um, uh, shhhh, PICKY!!!

Gotta go!

Nothin' much goin' on here!

Today we're taking Doug to the dentists to have his teeth checked over. He'd been complaining about it for a while. Yesterday Mom asked, "Does your tooth still hurt?" He shook his head and showed her his tooth and it was completely healed up now!

I went over to Grandma and Grandpa's house for a visit and just now got to my blogging spot.
There isn't much to say today.

I'm already half packed to go to TX! I can't wait to go!!!! Soon I'll be in Texas with Grandma and Grandpa M!

Later, Gator!

TEXAS, HERE I COME!!!!

I'M GOING TO TEXAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We just had a phone call from Grandma M. and I am going to her house the 11th and will stay for 10 days!!!!!!!!!!! I've gone down for the last 3 (I think) years in the summer. I have always gotten to swim but, it's too cold to swim this time. She told me to think up things to do and I really want to go shopping and do other fun stuff too!!!! When they bring me back home they said that they'll stay for Thanksgiving!!!!! I hope that I'll get to go back in the SUMMER next year so that I can swim! I don't mind it in the fall, but summer is more fun. I have been waiting for her to call for a long time and I finally know the final date!!!!!!!!!!! I will be doing another travelthingee so you can hear about my trip!

Okay, NOW I'll tell you about the rest of my day now.

This morning I got up when Daddy got up (at 6:00am) so I could get my schoolwork done so we could go to Target and so we could go wirelessing too. I got it all done by 10:00 this morning and then Rayna and I watched "Zapped". Gloria watched the movie with us and she fell asleep during the movie!
As we got ready to leave Rayna was having her hair done and I was teasing her about something or other and Mom said "Stop that Darcy!"
Rayna said, "Yeah! LISTEN to your mother Darcy!" I teased her when she was poking me and I said, "LISTEN to your mother Rayna!!!!" She glared at me and exhaled loudly. If looks could kill I'd be dead right now!

We just got back from New China House and found out that Rayna doesn't like Crab rangoons. She said, "I don't like Jayhoorns Mommy!" I was laughing behind my menu as she said that!

Happy (late) Halloween!!

Here is a poem that I found in one of my poem books. I thought that it was appropriate for Halloween. Here it is!

October Magic

I know
I saw
a spooky witch
out riding on her broom
I know
I saw
a goblin thing who's laughing in my room.

I think
perhaps I saw a ghost
who had a pumpkin face
and creepy cats
and sleepy bats
are hiding every place.

It doesn't matter where I look
There's something to be seen,

I know it is October
So I think it's Halloween.

Last night we went and Trick or Treated but, NO ONE ANSWERED THE DOOR!!!!!
Rayna dressed up as Cinderella and Doug was a Superpiratebatboy. That's when ya dress up in a superman costume with a pirate eye patch and a batman bucket with a cowboy hat to top it off.
The only people that we got candy from (other than Mom and Dad) was my GRANDPARENTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But, we got to visit Grandpa and Grandma some. Then we came home, had a frozed dinner and we watched part of the "Acrobats Of China" DVD that we bought when we saw them a few weeks ago.

Today

Granpa came over to check out our car. WHOOPSIE! I forgot to tell you that we got stranded last night in the parking lot! Dad came and jump started us. After that we all went to Godfathers Pizza. That place was PACKED!! Someone was having a soccer party there and I got to see my friends Autumn, Luke and Sabrina there!

Rayna and I started our day out with raking leaves into a big pile and then jumping in them!Jumping in them is the best part of raking leaves.

After that I went in and I did my math. Then I went over to Grandman and Grandpa C's house so I could rake their leaves too. Then I came home and goofed around for a while and then we came here to blog!

End of story!

I was wondering who sent the comment about dying their hair purple and black. I forgot to mention-FORGET THE SPIKES!!! SPIKES R WEIRDER THAN WEIRD!!!!

Home again Home again jiggety jig...

Yesterday we came home. We had just come from an Appleton church and had been playing music there. We had been going there for 3 years.

After we left SDC we went back to the motel and I was tired. That day at SDC I went on Wildfire again with Greg and Brian. Trent wouldn't go on it and Brian even offered him 5 dollars to go on it. Trent says he has a "delicate" stomach. HA! I say he's chicken. I asked Brian if I could have 5 dollars to go on it but, he said that I had already been and wouldn't give me any money. ); When we went on Wildfire I was braver that time! I had my eyes open even when we went upside down!! It was cool when you went upside down!!! As we got off the ride Greg's hair was sticking straight up!!! He looked funny! Brian went barefoot on the ride because his shoes come off easily, I guess. I was freakin' out as we went straight down. When you go straight down is the WORST part of the ride.

On the way home we got Doug a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Battleizer Robot. He had been wanting that since we saw it at the beginning of our vacation! Rayna bought a stuffed eagle. I bought a book called Icefire. I have read the first one in the trilogy (I think it's a trilogy) and a third one is coming out soon!

Gotta go!

Today

Today I went to SDC again and we saw Grandma and Grandpa C again and we ate together. We ate at the mill restraunt. We had fried chicken and rolls with mashed potatoes and corn. Then we went to listen to Dad's band. We went to the "Great American Shootout" (I think that's what it's called) We went 3 times and I only wanted to go 2 times. Trent and Alayna are here at the hotel with us because everyone was cold and Dad took us all to our hotel. Trent has been using my laptop, (yes, I shared it!) and we have been watching TV too. Rayna and Trent are wrestling and Rayna is winning right now. Mom has been off in La-La land blogging. Trent is bugging and pestering me as usual.

I gotta scram

Question #1 for Bats and Bats' Sage Reply...

Head Banger recently wrote...

Dear Bats,I have a problem. My eleven year old daughter has begun getting a bad attitude (sulking and acting like I the biggest annoyance in her life). What do you suggest?

Dear Head Banger,

You NUT!!!!!! 11 year olds are very kind, nice and loveable and very allergic to bat attitudes! The ones who are addicted to bad attitudes are 4-10 year olds! NOT 11 year olds!

Advice Column

Mom advised that I should start a advice column. So here it is! To ask a question just comment on the posts and I will answer by writing a post. Or, every now and then I will publish a post called Darcy's Advice Column and you can comment on that and I will answer. Be prepared to get silly answers though!!!!!

Mini Golfing

Today we went mini golfing and, well, golfed!!! Dad won first place, Mom won second place and I won third place. We didn't count Doug and Rayna's scores though. But, proabably they got all six's on all the holes.

After that we went to the observation tower and saw our motel from there! We also saw the Shepherd of the Hills observation tower too!!
Then we went to the Shepherd of the Hills and got a Christmas present for... lets just say, someone!

Tomorrow we're going to SCD and we will go on more rides and hear Dad's band play.

'bye!!
