Violet

I went over to Lisa's house yesterday evening and her new puppy is SO cute! Lisa named her dog Violet. It's a German Shepherd and her ears are the CUTEST little things! They just flop all over the place!

Lisa moved into her sister's old house and I used to baby-sit her sister's 2 kids and her house looks so much different now that Lisa moved in.

Mom took a rug over to Lisa's and nailed it to the top of her dog house so Violet would be warmer in the cold weather. Mom had to cut a little hole in the side so she could squeeze in and out but, it looks a lot warmer now.

Violet bites EVERYTHING in sight and my toes got nipped sevral times too. I've got a little stuffed animal that I'm going to let Lisa have to play with Violet. Lisa doesn't have anything for her to chew on and Mom said that it'd be a good thing to have something for her to chew on so she chews on that instead of us!

Lisa said that when she has puppies we could have a puppy! She said that family gets a free puppy! Dad is like, NO WAY! He says he doesn't even want three dogs much less 4!!!! I'm sure Mommy and I can convince him though!!!!

My food is calling me so, I'd better go!

But, here's a thought.... Buy a roll of duct tape and cover the floor with it, sticky side up. You can jump across it to get away from her, but, she will have to crawl across it. That might help slow her down a bit the next time she is pestering you! If she's too noisy, a little piece might be useful for her mouth!!! (believe me, I would love to do this to my brother and sister but, I can't.
