My friend wrote this and I thought that it was really good so here it is!

Mother Nature
We know about the Stone age,
And progressive ages since,
We now have reached a new age,
The age of "No Pretense"
We have wireless telephones,
That reach across the sea,
We can watch the astronauts,
At home on our TV.
Songs are quickly stored away,
On things called megabytes,
Yesterday they were perhaps,
Bounced off of satellites.
Technology unbending,
Can only deal in facts,
Nothing in our world today,
Has room for a "perhaps"
In this Age of No Pretence,
It seems to be quite odd,
To speak of Mother Nature,
When technically it's.... God.
